Dear Parents or Guardians,

 
We are eagerly looking forward to the months ahead and count it a privilege to share in the lives of your kids. The intention of this update is to keep you informed about the programs we’re offering, special activities that are coming up, dates when programs will not be running, and a new online initiative.

 

Our regular programs include Underground (our weekly youth night), school Discussion Groups, Life Groups (teen small groups), Recreation Adventure Team (for guys), Cumberland floor hockey and summer camp. Involvement in programs and activities requires a signed Activity Waiver Form*. If you’re interested in one of these programs, please call the office at 250-338-8416 .

 

We have launched a Facebook group! You can find us at “YFC Underground.” Access to the group is controlled by administrators who monitor the site closely.  Along with displaying pictures of various events, you can recieve reminders about upcoming events, weekly Underground activities and enjoy online interaction.   

 In providing programs and activities we seek to keep them affordable. The majority of Youth Unlimited’s operating expenses are covered through generous donations made by supporters here in the Comox Valley and across our nation. However, some activities are costly and there are a few of these approaching in the coming months. We recognize it may not be possible for your son or daughter to attend all of these events and they will need to prioritize.

In conclusion, we hope you feel comfortable to contact us with any questions or concerns. There may be other special dates or activities that arise in the coming months and we will do our best to keep you informed.  We hope to see your kids out.
